Child Safety Policy

BeMe is designed with your privacy and safety in mind. Our highest priority is ensuring that our community remains helpful, supportive, and fun for everyone. We want to keep our BeMe Community safe for everyone, and that’s why we have a set of Community Guidelines that outline what behavior is and isn’t appropriate on BeMe.

About Our Child Safety Policy

BeMe doesn’t allow content that endangers the emotional and physical well-being of minors. A minor is defined as someone under the legal age of majority -- usually anyone younger than 18 years old in most countries/regions. We designed the content on BeMe for teens 13+. Some content might not be suitable for pre-teens and kids.

Please report if you find content on BeMe that violates this policy. If you believe a child is in danger, you should contact your local law enforcement to report the situation immediately.

How This Policy Impacts You

Our Child Safety Policy applies to videos, video descriptions, comments, My Journey, Vibe Check, Sketchpad, Community posts, BeMe live streams, playlists, and other products or features. Please note these policies also apply to external links in your content.

Do not post, upload, create, or share any content or engage in behavior on BeMe that includes any of the following:

  • Sexualization of Children: Sharing explicit content may result in your account being terminated and you being banned from BeMe. This explicit content policy applies to real-world or third-party media content in any media format, including video, text, audio, images, video games, screenshare, livestreams, audio, or music.
  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Sexually explicit content featuring minors and content that sexually exploits minors is not allowed on BeMe. We report content containing child sexual abuse imagery to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which works with global law enforcement agencies.
  • Cyberbullying, Trolling, or Targeted Abuse: Targeting individuals for abuse, revealing personal information, encouraging others to bully, sexually harassing, or recording other BeMe Community members is strictly prohibited.
  • Emotional Distress: Sharing content or leaving comments on BeMe that cause another BeMe Community member emotional distress. This includes but is not limited to, coercing minors, threats of violence, or mature themes.

Please note this is not a complete list. This policy applies to user-generated content (videos, video descriptions, comments, illustrations) on BeMe. You can also review our Terms of Service for additional guidelines. If you have any questions about this policy, let us know.

Examples

  • Uploading content that shows the physical abuse of a minor.
  • Leaving comments on BeMe that threaten physical or emotional harm.
  • Coercing another BeMe member to provide explicit photos, texts, or other media.
  • Trolling another member with the intent of causing emotional distress or harm.

Remember, these examples of content violate the BeMe Child Safety Policy, so please don't post content if you think it violates this or other BeMe Policies. Keep in mind that this is a partial list.

What Happens If You Violate This Policy

We may terminate your channel or account for repeated violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. We may also terminate your channel or account after a single case of abuse, pornography, targeted harassment, animal abuse, or other content.
